Dr Joseph is passionate about the importance of lifestyle in preventing disease and maintaining physical and mental wellbeing. He enjoys caring for patients from neonates to the elderly, and maximising quality of life for all.
Dr Joseph completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Bond University, before undertaking postgraduate Medicine at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. Following this, he completed his internship and residency at St George and Sutherland Hospital. He did two years of work as a senior surgical resident at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and also undertook rural experience in the Griffith Hospital emergency department. He is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dermatology
He has particular interest in the area of dermatology. He deals with inflammatory conditions like eczema, psoriasis and childhood rashes, and performs skin checks and skin cancer surgery.

As well as being authorised prescriber of Medicinal Cannabis for various conditions (including mood disorders and chronic pain), Michael is well placed to integrate pharmacological, psychological and lifestyle strategies in the complex management of mood disorders, substance addictions and process addictions.
Michael is happily married with 2 young sons and enjoys cycling, surfing and scuba diving.
